Joe graduated from Abilene High School 1972. He went on to attend Texas Tech where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. He attended the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center, Oklahoma City in 1985. After leaving the Air Force he completed on the job specialization training at the Orthopedic Institute of Illinois. Joe has worked in Primary Care, Family Practice, Emergency medicine, and since 1996 has been involved exclusively in Orthopedics. Joe returned to Abilene to work with Dr. McDonough and be closer to family. His interests include hunting, golf, gardening, and dabbling around the
kitchen.
